H.O.P.E. Park to open new playground

Special to The Times

H.O.P.E. Park, in partnership with Resurgens Charitable Foundation and the City of McDonough invites the community to the Grand Opening of their all-accessible, all-inclusive playground on Saturday, March 25 at 1 p.m.

On this state of the art playground, every piece of equipment has some developmental or therapeutic benefit for anyone with special needs, sensory issues, or traumatic brain injuries. More than that, this playground levels the playing field between children with special needs and without special needs. Everyone knows that when children are on a playground together, disabilities just don’t matter. All the kids want to do is have fun. It creates awareness, acceptance, and friendship!

There will be bounce houses (donated by My Yard Stuff), snow cones (donated by Our World at HOPE Park, and free food (donated by United Food Force) available. There will be a DJ on site for music and entertainment. For those of you RSVP: there will be reserved balloons for a celebratory balloon launch immediately following the ceremony. Email RSVP to Lori@OurHopePark.com.

Join them as they open this new, special-needs playground and announce their next project- a special needs school and park in Henry County open to the Southern Crescent area.
