Letters To The Editor

Dear Editor,

To all of the Americans that keep bringing up the fact that immigrants built this country.

Consider this, immigrants helped build this country. Your ancestors are people who came to this country from other countries. But, you are not an immigrant if you were born in this country. You are a pure American with immigrant ancestors. Stop trying to make everyone else think that because your ancestors are an immigrant. You are an American, not an immigrant! You did not come from another country. You did not immigrate to this great land. So be proud to be an American. Be a good American. Stop trying to make everyone else feel sorry for you. If you don’t like being an American, or don’t think that you are an American, then move to your ancestors’ country where “you” will be the immigrant.

Michael Jones,
McDonough
