Bethel UMC will have their Annual Chicken Fry on March 11 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Come grab a plate of chicken, tator logs, and more. Desserts are sold separately by the ladies. Wesley Chapel UMC will host the SSU National Alumni Association, East Atlanta Suburban Chapter’s (EASC) Spring Gospel Concert featuring the Wesleyan Gospel Choir. This scholarship event enables EASC to provide deserving students with funds to further their college education. The concert will be held Saturday, March 11 at 6 p.m. at the church. Full Life Community Baptist Church invites the community to join them from 6-7 p.m. each Sunday for their One Hour of Power service. First Baptist Church of McDonough invites the community to worship with them on Sunday mornings at 9:30 and 11 a.m. at their Downtown Campus (101 Macon Street) and at 10:30 a.m. at their West Campus (2176 Jonesboro Road). Kids K-5th are invited to Awana every Sunday night at 6 p.m. at their West Campus, and they offer Grief Share at their Downtown Campus on Tuesday nights at 6 p.m. Ladies’ Bible Studies are Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 a.m. at the Downtown Campus. Community Bible Church invites the community to Family Church on Saturday nights at 5 p.m. in the church gym. The service will feature worship led by adults, teens, college students and children. They will have games, Family Memory Verse with hand motions to make memorization easy, a message from their Senior Pastor, chalk tables, color/note sheets for kids (kids who take notes, draw, write or color on their sheets during the message may exchange their sheet for a prize at the end of the service), recognition of local sports teams, clubs, music groups and others.
