Where In The World Is The Times

Special photo

The Times traveled recently with Leah Preston-Frickey, Ansley Frickey and Kristi Garrett to Washington D.C. to witness the transition of power to the 45th President of the United States. They felt it was a once-in-a-lifetime chance to experience this historic event. Both ladies believe that no matter which political party you support, it is most important to remember the men and women who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for us to live, in a democracy that is strongest in the world and that affords us the privilege to vote and be heard. One of their favorite inauguration events was witnessing the patriotic fireworks display at the end of the “Make America Great Again Welcome Celebration” on the eve of the inauguration. If they only had one word to describe their trip, it would be “Patriotism.” Thanks for taking The Times on your trip!
