Heritage Writers Group
Meetings of the Heritage Writers Group are held on the second and fourth Sunday of each month from 2-4 p.m. in the McDonough Library. The library is located at 1001 Florence McGarity Blvd. in McDonough. The groups purpose is to encourage the art of writing in any form: mystery, science fiction, humor, romance, reality, fantasy, sports or poetry. The Compassionate Friends is for parents and other family members who have lost a child in death. They meet the first Monday of each month from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Center Point Church located at 4127 US Highway 41 Bypass South in Griffin.
