Denece S. Englett
Mrs. Denece S. Englett, age 73 of Hampton, Ga., passed away October 30, 2016. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Rube and Claudia Ethel Gabriel Hopkins. Denece enjoyed watching NFL football, line dancing, casinos, NASCAR, traveling with her husband in his truck and international travel with her son. She was preceded in death by siblings, Bobby Hopkins, Stoney Hopkins and Corrine Jones.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Englett, Sr. of Hampton; son, Paul (Ivy) Englett, Jr. of Temple, Tex.; daughter, Regenia (James) Melvin of Palmetto Bay, Fla.; granddaughter, Ashley Nicole Melvin; siblings, Joe Hopkins and Renea Christianson.

Sacola Dodgen Dupree
Mrs. Sacola Dodgen Dupree, age 95 of Hampton, Ga., passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at her residence. Mrs. Dupree was born in Hampton, Ga., on February 18, 1921. She retired from Holiday Inn and was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church, charter member of the Kitchen Kuties, a member of Woodman of the World. She loved traveling, camping and spending time with family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas Watson Harrison and Mary Elizabeth Greer Harrison, her husbands, Marshall F. Dodgen and John Dupree.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and David Martin; sons and daughters-in-law, James and Kaye Dodgen, Thomas and Elon Dodgen, Marshall and Connie Dodgen; 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 11 great great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Bobby Berry.
Visitation for Mrs. Sacola Dodgen Dupree was held on Sunday, November 6, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Funeral services were conducted on Monday, November 7, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Conner-Westbury with Reverend Argin Floyd officiating. Interment in Mount Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Hampton, Georgia.
