St. James Council of Catholic Women (C.C.W.) will be having a Hollydaze Arts and Craft Festival on Saturday, November 19 from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church on Hwy. 155 (1000 Decatur Road) McDonough.

Mount Bethel United Methodist Church invites the community to visit their Clothes Closet on Saturday mornings from 9 a.m.-noon. They have sizes to fit most and there is no cost whatsoever. Worship services are held each Sunday at 11 a.m. The church is located at 992 Mt. Bethel Road in McDonough.

CrossRoad Christian Church has Bible Study every Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. Sunday school is every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. and the Sunday worship service is at 11 a.m. A free Coach for Kids event will be held November 20 at 5:30 p.m. The church is located at 3545 Highway 42 North, Stockbridge.

Bethel UMC will have their annual BBQ on Saturday, November 12 from 11-5 p.m. Preorder shoulders for the holidays by calling 770-474-2570. There will also be a huge bake sale, and guests will be able to preorder baked goods for the holidays. All proceeds go to various mission projects. The community is also invited to their Church Unplugged Service on Sunday, November 13 at 8:30 a.m. in the Chapel for a special Youth-led worship service, Church Unplugged. South East Atlanta 7th Day Baptist Church has a community food pantry each Sunday from 5 until 6 p.m. (please call for appointment). They also offer biblical counseling. Henry Baptist Church will host Surviving the Holidays, a seminar for people experiencing the holidays after their loved one’s death, on November 13 from 3-5 p.m. Topics to be discussed include dealing with hard-hitting emotions, what to do about traditions, how to survive social events, and where to find comfort and strength.
