St. James the Apostle Catholic Church will host a “Peace and Mercy In Our Time Concert” on Saturday, November 5 at 7 p.m. to honor public servants. This special event will be presented by the combined Music Ministries from St. Gabriel, St. Philip Benizi, Holy Trinity and St. James the Apostle Catholic Churches. The Ole Country Church invites the community to a special Saturday Night singing on November 5 at 6 p.m. featuring the Singing Cookes. There is no cover charge, however a love offering will be taken. Mount Bethel United Methodist Church invites the community to visit their Clothes Closet on Saturday mornings from 9 a.m.-noon. They have sizes to fit most and there is no cost whatsoever. Worship services are held each Sunday at 11 a.m. The church is located at 992 Mt. Bethel Road in McDonough.
