Where In The World Is The Times

Special photo

The Times traveled recently through Italy, France and Spain with Shelbe Gosdin of McDonough on a Tour of Gardens with Walter Reeves, The Georgia Gardener. They visited Vila’s (second homes) in Varenna, Bellagio and Tremezzina of the Lake Como Regions of Italy and even saw the church where Mussolini was captured. In France they visited gardens, and cathedrals along the French Riviera, Menton and Monaco. While in Monaco they visited the graves of Princess Grace and Prince Ranier. Shelbe traveled next to Spain where her grand-daughter Kelli and Kelli’s husband Chris Seidl (above) teach English. Both are graduates of Henry County High and Georgia State University and were featured in the August 17, 2016 issue of the Times. The couple live in Logrono where The San Barnabe Festival was happening during the week of Shelbe’s visit. They enjoyed a progressive dining experience along the old town streets where ham is included in nearly every item. Shelbe flew home from Bilbao, which is home to the Guggenheim Museum and was able to photograph the Puppy near the entrance.
