Henry County’s elections office has announced the dates, hours and locations for early voting in advance of the Nov. 8 general election.

Voters can cast their ballots Oct. 17-21 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at the county’s election headquarters, 40 Atlanta Street in McDonough. The elections office moved there from its former location on Phillips Drive several months ago and will be there for at least the next few months as officials decide their long-term plans for the Phillips Drive location, which needed extensive repairs.

Saturday voting will be available Oct. 22 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the same location.

Polls will be open Oct. 24-28 from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. at the elections office as well as the Merle Manders Conference Center, 111 Davis Road in Stockbridge. Both locations will also be open for voters the following weekend: Saturday, Oct. 29, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; and Sunday, Oct. 30, 1-5 p.m.

Five locations will have voting booths up and running Oct. 31-Nov. 4 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. In addition to the two locations mentioned above, voters can exercise their constitutional rights at any of three public libraries: Fairview Library, 28 Austin Road in Stockbridge; Fortson Library, 61 McDonough Street in Hampton; and Locust Grove Library, 115 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. (formerly Locust Grove-Griffin Road) in Locust Grove.

Polls will be open Tuesday, Nov. 8, 7 a.m.-7 p.m. at all 44 county voting precincts. To find out which precinct is yours, visit the elections office page on the county website, www.henrycounty-ga.org
