Mt. Olive Baptist Church of Stockbridge invites the community to a Family Matters Conference on August 17 and 18 at 7 p.m. and Saturday August 20 at 8 a.m. Workshops, classes and discussion panels for youth, young adults, adults, singles and married couples will include a wide range of subjects relevant to todays multi-generational, traditional and non-traditional families. The Ole Country Church invites the community to worship each week. Sunday School for all ages is at 9:30 a.m. Worship services are at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Wednesday Night service begins at 7 p.m. Nursery and Children’s Church are available for all services. Teach the Word Bible College will hold a grand opening and orientation on Tuesday, September 6 from 6-9 p.m. at 3707 Jodeco Road in McDonough. Teach The Word Bible Institute has partnered with Tabernacle Theological Seminary to provide supportive educational experiences to prepare individuals for a successful life and a flourishing ministerial career. Community Bible Church will be offering Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University and Dave’s Legacy Journey twice a week starting Sunday, August 21 and Wednesday August 24. The Sunday night classes will be held at 6 p.m., and Wednesday’s classes are at 6:30 p.m. Childcare will be provided for each.
