Mrs. Mary Katherine Dailey, age 88 of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away December 8, 2015.

Elizabeth R. White, age 86, passed away on December 8, 2015 in McDonough, Ga.

Hoyt Patton
Hoyt “Neal” Patton, age 77, of Locust Grove, Ga., died Sunday, December 27, 2015. He was born in Lowell, N.C. to the late Hoyt Cornelius and Thelma Louise Ashley Patton, Sr. He was preceded in death by a brother, Morris Patton.
Mr. Patton is survived by his wife of 55 years, Kay Patton, Locust Grove, Ga.; sons, Jeffrey Neal Patton, Stockbridge, Ga., and Bradford Lynn Patton, Fayetteville, Ga.; close friend, Randolph Merrick, Stockbridge, Ga.; brother, Ronald Patton, Spartanburg, S.C.; sister, Patricia Patton Hope, Shalimar, Fla.; plus his fur babies, Yukon and Soks.

Rebecca Lynn McGhee
Rebecca Lynn McGhee (James F. Archer), age 55 of McDonough, Ga., passed away December 20, 2015. She was born in Homestead, Fla. to Thomas and Patricia Therber Archer. She received an Associate’s in Theology from Slidell Baptist Seminary and attended First Baptist Church of McDonough. Rebecca enjoyed painting, camping, the beach, SCI-FI movies and was a writer. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Jeanette Gilbert.
Survivors include her husband, Kevin McGhee of McDonough; parents, Thomas and Patricia Archer of McDonough; brothers, John (Renee) Archer of Newport News, VA, Jeffrey (Amy) Archer of Mandeville, LA and Joseph (Tina) Archer of McDonough; several nieces and nephews.

Alice Patricia Carroll Jones
Alice Patricia “Pat” Carroll Jones, age 83, of Stockbridge, Ga., died Wednesday, December 23, 2015. She was born in Lynn, MA to the late Joseph and Mary Evelyn Fitzgerald Carroll. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Steven Otis Jones and her sister Jeanne Marie Dewberry.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Jones, Stockbridge, Ga.; son, Dr. Michael Jones, Rex, Ga.; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren, plus many other friends, family, and loved ones.
Memorial Services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church in Jonesboro. The family received friends Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 10 until 11 a.m. prior to the service at the church. An inurnment will be held at Georgia National Cemetery, in Canton, GA at a later date. Charles Pierce
Charles (Chuck) Pierce was welcomed into the arms of our Lord December 25, 2015. Chuck was born in Moss Point, Mississippi in 1928. He enlisted in the Navy during World War II, spending time in the South Pacific participating in the liberation of the Philippines. Chuck was honorably discharged in San Francisco, California in 1949. He was employed by Loomis Armored Car Service for 37 years, rising to Branch Manager over a 400 mile region of Central California. Chuck held the position of Exalted Ruler in the Fremont, California Elks Lodge, and he hand-built a large gazebo on the lodge grounds where many special events were held. Chuck was also a square dance caller and loved to perform as a banjo player. He later relocated to McDonough, Georgia where he served as a Henry County Courthouse Bailiff for nine-and-a-half years, retiring at the age of 86. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Evelyn, and four siblings.
He is survived by his wife, Lorena, eleven children, many grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
There will be a graveside military service performed at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida, and a local memorial service will be lead by Pastor Joey Seabolt at Phillipi Baptist Church in Locust Grove on Sunday, January 17, 2016 beginning at 3 p.m. Those who wish may sign the online guest registry at www.haistenfunerals.com. Emory Jefferson Greene, Jr.
Emory Jefferson Greene Jr., age 86, of Stockbridge, Ga., died peacefully Saturday, December 26, 2015. He was born in Luther, Tenn. on May 27, 1929, to the late Emory J. Greene Sr. and Delcie Johnson Greene. Emory was a member of Salem Baptist Church in McDonough. He fulfilled a dream by singing in the Easter Cantata with the church choir. He loved photography, golf and traveling. Emory was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, as well as a great friend and neighbor to many. Emory was a retired Major in the U.S. Army Reserves. He served briefly in Korea in the early 1950s. He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee and was founder and sole proprietor of Distribution Services for more than 40 years. Mr. Greene was preceded in death by his first wife, Evelyn Hayes Greene, and sisters Jan Johnson and Barbara Bradford Greene.
Mr. Greene is survived by his wife Esther Leach Greene, (formerly of Richmond, Ky.) Stockbridge, Ga.; son Alan Emory (Christine) Greene, McDonough, Ga.,; and daughter Amy E. (Thomas Reuter) Greene, Cleveland, Ohio; grandsons, Dominick (Tracy) Greene Reuter, Princeton, N.J.; and Nathaniel Greene Reuter, Atlanta.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at The Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors with Rev. Rick Statham and Rev. Dan McKay officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 31, 2015 from 1 until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
