Golf Tournament to benefit Henry County Special Olympics
The Atlanta Pinseekers Men’s Golf Association present it’s 1st Annual Charity Golf Tourna-ment Friday, November 6 at Eagles Brook Golf and Country Club. The tournament will benefit Henry County Special Olympics.

Eagles Brook is located at 300 Lester Mill Road in Locust Grove. The Shotgun start is at 10 a.m. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. The cost is $75 per individual or $300 per team. Includes breakfast, lunch and goodie bags. Register online at www.atlanta pinseekers.com

Crypts, Cold Cases and Cemetery Tour October 24
McDonough Arts Council will present Crypts, Cold Cases and Cemetery Tour on Saturday, October 24 from 4 until 10 p.m. at the McDonough Cemetery and Richard Craig Ballfields. There will be live music with a DJ, food trucks, creepy face painting and Zombie Land. The festival is free to attend. The crypt tour is $10 per person.

Applications for Master Gardener Program due November 3
The Henry County Extension is accepting applications for the 2016 Master Gardener Program until November 3. Please call, (770-288-8421), or come by the Extension office, 97 Lake Dow Road/ McDonough, GA 30252. The program is open to anyone who is interested in community service and gardening. The 2016 program will began Jan 11th 2016 and end March 28, 2016. The Classes will be held on Mondays from 9:00am to 4:00pm. There will be 50 hours of class room instruction; classes will be taught by county agents and University of Georgia specialists. Classes will rotate between Henry, Rockdale and Spalding Counties.
