Community Yard Sale September 26
The Henry County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. will host a Community Yard Sale on Saturday September 26 from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. at First Baptist McDonough West, 2176 Jonesboro Road in McDonough. Proceeds benefit the chapter’s scholarship programs and service projects based on the sorority’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust. House of Empowerment invites tweens and teens to come learn about their organization during Cupcakes and Conversation Saturday, September 26 from 10 a.m. until noon. Henry Singers Rehearsals

For Liberty Now meets September 28
The For Liberty Now group will meet Monday, September 28 at 7 p.m. at the Henry County Sheriff's Complex Courtroom, 120 Henry Parkway, McDonough. Their guest will be Andy Welch, state representative. They are hoping that John Yates, state representative, will be able to attend.
