Former students of the Henry County Training School attended the Bridging the Gap class reunion June 14-16. The weekend included a meet-and-greet at Rufus Stewart Park, and a banquet at Pilgreen’s Steakhouse in McDonough.

The reunion, held every two years, brought together 290 students of HCTS from 1941-1970, says Reunion Committee Presi-dent Barbara Nunnally. She says the reunion helps her stay connected to the school.

“It’s very important for me to pass it along and to remember the Henry County Training School and those years for my grandchildren and great-grandchildren,” she says. “That’s the way we all feel.”
