Mt. Bethel Baptist Church invites the community to their Male Chorus Anniversary on Sunday, July 19 at 2:30 p.m. The church is located at 633 Keys Ferry Road in McDonough.

Tabernacle Family Worship Center will host a community outreach event Saturday, August 1 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. followed by a Worship Celebration at 7 p.m. They will have a free lunch, children and youth activities including a bounce house, face painting and balloon art. South East Atlanta 7th Day Baptist Church has a Com-munity Food Pantry each Sunday from 5 until 6 p.m. (please call for appointment). They also offer biblical counseling. Breath of God Ministries (formerly Pneuma Christian Chur-ch) invites all to worship with them Sundays at 10:30 a.m. Their mid-week service is Thursday at 7 p.m. Children’s Ministry is provided for all services. They also invite the community to attend Greater Rhymez, an urban, inspirational, monthly open mic style event, featuring rappers, singers, spoken word artists and dancers, expressing themselves and glorifying Jesus. Lighthouse Community Baptist Church will have their first annual Back to School Backpack School Supplies event Saturday, July 25 from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Children must be in middle school or below and be present to receive their backpack and supplies. There will be fun, games, and food for everyone present. The church is located at 1615 East Atlanta Road in Stockbridge.

Wesley Chapel UMC invites the community to worship with them each Sunday in the 8 and 11 a.m. services. Sunday school is at 9:30. Early I Seek Thee: Communion with God through Prayer is an eight week study held through Wednesday, August 12 at 6 a.m. in Thomas Hall. The church is also providing free meals for area children Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Thomas Hall. They are requesting basic school supply donations for their Back to School Jamboree on Saturday, August 1 from noon until 3 p.m. Girls will receive pedicures and boys will get complimentary grooming. They need servants with basic barber skills to donate one hour of time for the event. First Baptist Church of Stockbridge invites the community to worship with them. Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. and morning worship is at 10:45 a.m. Nursery and children’s church are available. The Sunday evening service is at 6 p.m. On Wednesday they have activities for 3 year olds through 5th grades including music and mission activities for girls and boys. Henry Baptist Church will have a Music Camp for boys and girls entering 2nd through 6th grades July 20 - 24 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Early registration is encouraged at www.discoverhbc.org. Campers will participate in music and choreography rehearsals each day in preparation for the performance of “The Go Tour” musical on July 26 at 6 p.m. Campers also participate in recreation time and craft activities each day.
