Hey Henry - 04.22.15
Hey Henry, I’ve carried a gun for 30 years and never shot anyone. I’ve never seen a gun walk out the door and shoot someone on its own. The reason the response to gun violence in some places like Georgia is to further loosen gun laws is so the law abiding can protect themselves. You can’t pass a law that criminals will obey because they are criminals! Cities like New York, D.C., and Chicago have the strongest gun control laws yet still have the highest gun crime rates. “No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms.” ~ Thomas Jefferson
Hey Henry, thank God for the Affordable Care Act aka Obamacare. The mentality against this insurance is the same short-sighted mentality that was against Social Security and Medicare.
Hey Henry, remember that all of the legislators except Senator Jones would not allow you to vote for the form of government you wanted in Henry County. Yet they all voted to allow Clayton, Dekalb, and other counties to have a referendum. Vote all of them out the next time around.
Hey Henry, when did it become acceptable behavior for a pastor at a Christian church to tell you he would think (oops) pray for a solution to a problem you asked him for help with, to come back to you with “I’m sorry, it’s just too much of an inconvenience for me to help?”
Hey Henry, to the individual who claims there is not “a single thing the President has done to harm this country,” you are obviously one of the many oblivious voters who elected an individual as President of this United States based on any and everything but the content of his character. The number of things he has done to harm this country far outweigh any thing good.
Hey Henry, quit complaining about the wheelchair parking spots. If you have really monitored people parking in a handicapped spot and walking all over the store, you need to get a life.
Hey Henry, I believe all Americans have the right to live their lives according to the law and how they want to live, as long as it causes no harm to others. Perhaps, level heads need to see that the Indiana bill just allows Christians freedom to run their businesses according to their beliefs. The news media has added prejudice to the mix. Do Christians not have the same rights as other beliefs? Just wondering. This is not a criticism of the gay community, my friends, it is just a discussion of individual rights. What is your opinion?
Hey Henry, the Henry County Republican Party states that there has been a surge in Democratic voters. Evidently, they are unaware of Henry County history. Henry was a heavily Democratic county until the 1990’s and the pendulum has swung in that direction again. Good luck to the Henry Republican party, they’ll need it.
Hey Henry, can someone please fix the light at Hwy. 155 and Campground Road? Ever since they changed the utility pole the light on Hwy. 155 stays red while I sit there for ten minutes at 5 a.m. going to work when there are no cars coming down Campground Road.
Hey Henry, flip flop season is here again. I don’t look forward to looking at people’s ugly, dried up, dirty feet.
