  Mount Zion UMC will celebrate Homecoming on Sunday, May 18, with Rev. Dr. Ed Judy as guest  minister. Dr. Judy is a former member of the church.  Congregational singing will begin at 9:30 a.m., with the worship service at 11 a.m.  A covered dish luncheon will follow. For more info call 770-981-0238.   Shiloh Baptist Church invites the community to attend the Shiloh Players production of “A Mother’s Prayer” on Saturday, May 17 at 5:30 p.m. Admission is free. This is a production that reminds us that a family that prays together stays together. It is directed by Ms. Daisy Thompson. For more info call  them at 770-957-2344.   Flippen United Methodist Church will host a Catfish Fry on Saturday, May 31 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. The meal will include catfish, hush puppies, french fries, cole slaw, drink and dessert.   Wesley Chapel UMC invites the community to worship with them each Sunday at the 8 and 11 a.m. services. Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. Bible Study is held each Wednesday at noon. They have a Women’s Day Celebration on May 17 from 5 until 8:30 p.m. The theme is Stepping out for the Lord. Scripture is Psalms 119:133. On May 18 they welcome speaker Reverend Terrilyn Davis Lemmons, Associate Pastor of Cascade UMC at the 8 a.m. worship service. At 11 a.m. their speaker is Reverand Stephanie Hill, Youth/Teen Church Leader at Shiloh Baptist Church. Unity colors are pastels.   Glen Haven Baptist Church welcomes the community to hear Sr. Pastor Stan Berrong on Sunday, May 18 in the 8:15, 9:45, and 11 a.m. services.  Grief Share meets at 4 p.m. Please remember the midweek service on Wednesday, May 21 at 6:45 p.m. Awana awards for T and T will be on Wednesday, May 14 at 6:30 p.m. during the midweek service.     Locust Grove United Methodist Church invites the community to worship with them. They have a Casual Service at 8:45 a.m. and a Blended Service at 11 a.m. Sunday School, Bible Studies, youth and childrens activities are available.   McDonough First United Methodist Church has Sunday worship at 8:30 and 11 a.m. Sunday School meets at 9:30 and they have mid-week Wednesday night dinner and activities for all ages.
