  Mount Zion United Methodist Church will hold its annual St. Patrick’s Day Pancake Dinner from 4:30 - 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 16. Donations will go to the general budget. The public is invited to attend the dinner at the church, 984 Panola Road in Ellenwood.

 

  Glen Haven Baptist Church invites the community to hear Pastor Mike Creasman on Sunday, March 9 in the 8:15, 9:45 and 11 a.m. services.  Grief Share class meets at 4 p.m. and Awana Grand Prix will be at 5:30 p.m. in the gym.   The Spirit Full Gospel Church will have a giant yard sale sponsored by Life in Hours on Saturday, March 8 from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. on the church land located on Dailey Mill Road one mile down from the intersection with Jonesboro Road in McDonough.   CrossPoint Community Church invites the community to come hear Dr. James Elliott, a trained professional organic chemist as he teaches a 6-week study starting March 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. He will be leading a discussion to examine the evidence for scientific creationism. Dr. Elliott has a Bachelor of Science in Biophysical Chemistry and a doctorate in Christian Education and Theology. The church is located at 2093 Highway 42 North in Jenkinsburg. Refreshments will be provided from 6-6:45, with the discussion planned for 7-8 p.m.  Everyone is welcome!

 

  Financial Peace University is sponsoring a multi-family yard sale on Saturday, March 15 from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the parking lot of Community Bible Church at 2001 Jodeco Road in Stockbridge.  LifeSouth will also be hosting a blood drive, so be sure to stop by the Bloodmobile after you shop and save a life.   Locust Grove United Methodist Church invites the community to worship on Sunday mornings. At 8:45 a.m. they have a casual traditional service. A sausage and biscuit breakfast is from 9:30 to 10 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. At the 11 a.m. service enjoy a mix of hymns and praise songs led by their worship choir and praise band.
