Liberty Hill Baptist Church invites the community to come hear Arch McGarity, Chief Judge of Henry County Superior Courts, on Friday January 24. The topic will be Building A Godly Legacy. Free B.B.Q. will be served starting at 6 p.m. This is the kick-off for the Benaiah Men's Conference, which begins Saturday, January 25 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Admission for Saturday will be Adults $20 and Ages 15-18 years $15. Glen Haven Baptist Church invites the community to hear Sr. Pastor Stan Berrong on Sunday, January 12 in the 8:15, 9:45 and 11 a.m. services. One Heart Community Church have their Road Riders for Jesus meeting January 11 at the church at 9 a.m., followed by a ride to the Garden Patch restaurant in Barnesville. On January 17 Youth Bowling participants meet at the church at 6:30 p.m. On January 18 their Serve the Homeless outreach will leave the church at 6 a.m. On January 25 Senior Craft Day begins at 10 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The Ole Country Church invites the community to their 3rd Sunday Night Singing on January 19 at 6 p.m. featuring The Heirborn Quartet from Rockmart, GA. The church is located at 2649 Hwy. 155 North in McDonough

Community Bible Church has the following programs coming up in January: preview night for Financial Peace University is on Wednesday, January 15 at 6:30 p.m. DivorceCare is also the same night at 6:30 p.m. It is a 12-week divorce recovery support group where you can find help and healing from the hurt of separation and divorce. Grief-Share is on Thursday, January 16 at 7 p.m. It is a 13-week grief support group with caring people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences.
