Linda Diane Ramey Cooper
Mrs. Linda Diane Ramey Cooper, age 64, of Monticello, GA passed away December 19, 2013. Linda was born in Winder. She was preceded in death by her father, Virgil Thomas Ramey; brother, Virgil Thomas Ramey; and a son, Forrest Cooper Jr.
Survivors are her husband of 33 years, Forrest Cooper of Monticello; children, Tina Standridge (Jeff) of Locust Grove, Cindy Morgan (Jay) of Land O Lakes, FL, Terry Cooper of Rockmart, Tracy Cooper (Amber) of Ellenwood, and Kenneth Hicks (Suzanne) of Monticello; mother, Lorene Ramey of Land O Lakes, FL; 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Linda enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, shopping, and playing bingo.

Ms. Barbara Eskew-Kennedy, age 77, of Stockbridge, GA passed away December 21, 2013. Barbara was born in Cleveland County, NC the daughter of the late Roy and Essie Mae Wood Hall. Barbara’s pride and joy were her eight boys and their families who she enjoyed cooking for and having family gatherings. She enjoyed yard sales, thrift shops, and bird watching. She was preceded in death by her oldest son, Roy Eskew.
Survivors are her sons and their spouses, Paul Eskew (Loretta) of Monticello, Lee Eskew (Kimberly) of Jackson, Bobby Eskew (Cathy) of Stockbridge, Clell Eskew (Dee) of Covington, John Eskew (Becky) of McDonough, Clay Kennedy (Linda) of Locust Grove and Matt Kennedy of Stockbridge; 21 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; siblings, Hazel Walls, Joyce Thomas, Marilyn Gann, Ricky Lewis, James Hall; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jerry Bordon Isbell
Mrs. Jerry Borden Isbell, age 80 of McDonough, GA passed away December 21, 2013. Jerry was born in Piedmont, AL the daughter of the late John Charles and Blanche Wolfe Borden. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Isbell and a sister, Carolyn Virginia Hudgins.
Survivors are her children, Kenneth (Glenda) Weigel of Anniston, AL, Michael (Jill) Weigel of McDonough, GA and Katherine Weigel of Long Beach, CA; grandchild, Kayla Weigel of Hypoluxo, FL; sister, Patricia Ray of Piedmont, AL.
A memorial service was held December 26 at Cornerstone Bible Church in McDonough with Pastor, David Riley presiding. Mrs. Jean Battle, age 75 of McDonough, Georgia passed away December 22, 2013. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida to the late John Wesley and Marguerite Eula Daniels Wells. Jean was a member of Eagles Landing Baptist Church and enjoyed painting, woodworking and bird watching. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dorsey Battle, Jr. and by a grandson, Benny Mott.
Survivors include her children, Joel (Vicki) Mott of McDonough, Stanley (Sherry) Mott of Telford, TN, Terry (Sonya) Mott of Yulee, FL, Susan (Carey) Gill of Fernandina Beach, FL; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; sister, Joan Parker of Yulee, FL.

Rita Elizabeth Winkenhofer Goodson
Mrs. Rita Elizabeth Winkenhofer Goodson, age 80 of McDonough, Georgia passed away December 24, 2013. She was born in Princeton, Kentucky to the late Arnold William and Lela Rita Phelps Winkenhofer. Rita was a member of the First Baptist Church of McDonough. She volunteered for Vista Americorp, Meals on Wheels and the 1996 Olympics. She was an avid reader, enjoyed watching tennis, working on genealogy and scrapbooking. She also helped with the census for Henry and Butts counties. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lamar Goodson, Sr. on April 6, 2013 and by her brothers, William Phelps Winkenhofer and Carl “Sonny” Winkenhofer.
Survivors include her children, Lari Sue Goodson (Charles) Johnson of Kathleen, GA, Roy Lamar (Kim) Goodson, Jr. of Byron, John Russell Goodson of McDonough, Robert Christopher (Megan) Goodson of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Jennifer Johnson, Jeffrey Johnson and Matthew Goodson; great grandson, Zachary John-son; several nieces and nephews.

Carolyn Moss Ayers
Carolyn Moss Ayers, age 80 of McDonough, Georgia passed away December 26, 2013. She was born in Porterdale, Georgia to the late Marvin Luther and Nena Mae Rape Moss. She worked for Southern Bell, Sam Standard's Rexall Drugs and retired from Spalding Gas. She enjoyed sports and played softball for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Ferguson Ayers; a daughter, Janice Susan Stephens; siblings, Marvin Eulee Moss, George Harold "Bud" Moss, Sidney Randolph Moss, Stella Rebecca "Beck" Moss Craven, Johnny Marion Moss and Margaret Annette "Snookie" Moss.
Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Larry Gene (Jeanette M.) Ayers and Ronald Keith Ayers all of McDonough; grandchildren, Shelley, Buddy, Elena, Coley, Amy, Nicole, Brianne, Faith, Joy, Michael and Tiffany; 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
