Julia “Judy” Muesse, age 73, of Stone Mountain, GA died November 17, 2013. She was born in Mertens, TX to the late Lois Alton and Ruth Perry Williams. She was a member of Glen Haven Baptist Church.
Judy is survived by her spouse of 55 years: Curtis Muesse, Stone Mountain, daughters: Patricia Muesse, Atlanta and Paula Twilley and husband Jeff, Douglasville; grandchildren: Kevin Dingman, Kyle Dingman, Payton Twilley and Cheyenne Twilley; siblings: Charles Williams and wife Sue, Grand Prairie, TX, Sandra Moreland, Mesquite, TX, and Elaine Gardner, Waxahachie, TX; numerous nieces and nephews.

Rena Ford McCarrey, age 63, of McDonough, GA died November 17, 2013. She was born in Atlanta to the late Elijah Hilliard and Annie Ruth Poston Ford.

Shirley Virginia Wellmon Slagel
Shirley Virginia Wellmon Slagel, age 82 of Stockbridge, Georgia passed away November 17, 2013. She was born in Cleveland County, North Carolina to the late Paul and Lucille Morrison Wellmon. She had worked in accounting most of her life and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her son, Mark (Sofia) Slagel; grandchildren, Sofia Niccole Herrera and Matthew Slagel. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Eugene Slagel and by her sisters, Imajean Wellmon and Margaret Fortner.

Mrs. Alma Huffman, age 93 of McDonough, Georgia passed away November 18, 2013. She was born in Cartersville, Georgia to the late Columbus Eugene and Lillie Martin Holmes. She always enjoyed working in her yard and raking leaves. She was preceded in death by children, Jerry Huffman and Brenda Lee.
Survivors include her husband of 73 years, J.C. Huffman; daughters, Geraldine (Allen) Clotfelter of McDonough, Effie Patterson of Forest Park; daughter-in-law, JoAnne Huffman of Juliette; son-in-law, Martin Lee of Stockbridge; grandchildren, Denise Little, Wanda Speir, Karen Pitman, Debbie Robey, Lisa Joseph, Audrey Cox, Tina Clotfelter, Donna Moore, Margie Coleman, Mary Vining, and Brian Lee; 26 great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.

Marie-Louise Skaggs, age 73 of McDonough, Georgia passed away November 18, 2013. She was born in Amityville, New York to the late Samuel and Valerie Hauser Brown. Marie-Louise was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Jonesboro. She was an avid collector of cows and bells, enjoyed ceramics, painting and a good cup of coffee while talking on the phone. She was a friend to all that knew her. She was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Fostano.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Harry Ralph Skaggs of McDonough; children, Elaina Thomason of Emerson, Darrel (Barbara) Skaggs of Bowdon, Troy (Coreen) Skaggs of Chapin, SC; brother, Robin (Mike) Jenkins-Brown of Brookhaven; grandchildren, Justin, Brandon, Wade, Nicholas, Ricky, Derek, Hannah, Hunter and Hayden; five great grandchildren.

Sarah Brown Withers
Sarah Brown Withers, age 82, of McDonough, GA died November 18, 2013. She was born in Atlanta to the late Hugh Curtis and Florence Watson Brown. Sarah was an active member of First Baptist Church Morrow where she taught Sunday School and served as the first female chair of deacons. She is a 1949 graduate of Brown High School, Atlanta and a 1952 graduate from Mercer University. Sarah earned a Masters Degree from Valdosta State University in 1976 and an Honorary Doctorate from Mercer University in 2002. She was a retired school teacher after 30+ years. Her family rises up and calls her blessed. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Reverend Harold B. Withers.
Sarah is survived by her children: Joy Withers (Bob) Brown, Stockbridge; Kay Withers (David) Cook, Waycross; James David (Debbie) Withers, McDonough; John Daniel (Susan) Withers, Fernandina Beach, FL; grandchildren: David R. Mariee McEachern Barnes, age 90, of Locust Grove, GA passed away November 23, 2013. Mrs. Barnes was born in Fulton County, the daughter of the late Lester Albert and Eva Grace Cawthon McEachern. Mrs. Barnes was a member of First Baptist Church of Locust Grove. She and her husband owned and operated B & C Farm Supply in Jackson. Mrs. Barnes enjoyed spending time with family and friends, gardening, yard work and watching the birds. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Howell Barnes, and all of her siblings.
