 Henry Baptist Church will hold “a GriefShare: Surviving the Holidays” seminar on Sunday, November 17 from 3 - 5 p.m. This seminar offers practical, actionable strategies for making it through the holiday season. Please bring a picture of your loved one for the Candlelight Memorial Service. The cost of $5 includes a Survival Guide Book and Desserts. No childcare is provided. McDonough First Assembly of God Church will have in concert “Little Roy Lewis and Lizzie Long” November 20 at 7 p.m. The community is invited to come enjoy this Blue Grass Extravaganza. Turning Point Church will have their first annual Toys for Tots event on December 7 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. They are seeking to make a difference in the community through this outreach. Each year, the United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots program makes it possible for children from low income families to receive new toys during the holiday season. McDonough First UMC will present a “Living and Loving Evening Series,” a program for couples on Thursday, November 14 from 7 to 8:15 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Child care will be provided. Suggested $20 donation per couple. Also, their annual bazaar sale will be held Saturday, November 16 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the gym. They are accepting applications for booth space for vendors and crafters and individuals wanting to sell their stuff. St. Joseph’s Episcopal Church invites the community to worship with them each Sunday in the 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. services. Shiloh Baptist Church Youth Ministry will have their last fundraiser at Zaxby’s on Highway 20/81 near Walmart on November 19.
