Linda Law Hester
Mrs. Linda Law Hester, age 71, of Jackson, Georgia passed away October 26, 2013. Linda was born in Opelika, AL, the daughter of the late Mary Louise Burnett and Doris Frank Law. Linda enjoyed spending time with family and friends, celebrating the holidays, cooking, gardening, flowers and traveling. She was a member of Rock Springs Church. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Frank Law.
Survivors are her loving husband of 51 plus years, Harry Hester of Jackson; children, Harry Hester Jr. of Dallas, Greg (Stacey) Hester of McDonough, and Cindi (Craig) Chambers of McDonough; 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild.

Dorothy Steele Turner
Mrs. Dorothy “Dot” Steele Turner, age 93, passed away October 27, 2013. Mrs. Turner was a native of McDonough. She lived most of her life in Macon before moving to Milledgeville for the past four years. She retired as the owner of the Georgia State Collection Agency and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Farguson Turner, daughter Dianne Yawn, sister Sarah Yancey, and grandchildren Debbie, Candy, and Ray.
She is survived by her daughter Peggy (Dennis L.) McWhorter of Eatonton; grandchildren Vicky Mosley, Sherry Yawn, Tracey Thomas, and Heather Starr; sister Ruth Foster of McDonough; nieces Millie Martinez and Judy Shields; nephew Tim Foster; and a number of great grandchildren.

Queenie Burns, age 69, of Stockbridge, GA died October 28, 2013. She was born in Moultrie to the late King and Charity Bell Taylor Clark. She formerly resided in Atlanta.
Queenie is survived by her daughter: Tiffany “Spank” (Juan) Jacobs, Stockbridge; grandchildren: Daniel Newbold, Jehanna Jacobs, Jehari Jacobs, John-Anthony Jacobs, all of Stockbridge; best friends: Omagene Jones, Sara Birdsong, Nyoka Mary Kimbro; siblings: Clara Person; Florence Clark, David (Katie) Clark, Margaret Goulden, Carolyn Kay (Lawrence) Williams, Carrie (Billy) Bryant, Elree Clark; Jerelene Stoltenborg; and a host of nieces and nephews.

James Elton Dodd, Jr.
James Elton Dodd, Jr., 63 of Stockbridge, GA died November 1, 2013. He was born June 3, 1950 in Danville, VA to the late James Elton Dodd, Sr. and Virginia Connie Lacey Dodd.
He is survived by a son, James Elton Dodd, III of Stockbridge, a brother Jerry Dodd and his wife Norma Dodd of Danville, VA and a sister Connie Dodd Clark of North Myrtle Beach, SC and several nieces and nephews.

John Allen Bell, Sr.
Mr. John Allen Bell, Sr., age 73 of Jonesboro, Georgia passed away November 1, 2013. He was born in Dublin, Georgia to the late William Thomas and Mary Ellen Lloyd Bell. He was a truck driver and mechanic for many years and enjoyed fishing, camping, white water rafting, watching TV, wrestling and spending time with the grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, William Thomas Bell and a brother, James Thomas Bell.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Hazel Upshaw Bell of Jonesboro; children, John Bell, Jr. of Jonesboro, Teresa Skinner of Stockbridge, Gordon Bell of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Ashley Womble, Jesse Bell, Aaron Bell, Abigayle Bell, Ciera Bell; great grandchildren, Maddy, Brayden and Clayton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joseph William (Patty) Bell of Aiken, SC, David Fred (Dorothy) Bell of Soperton and Sandy Bell of Apopka, FL; several nieces and nephews.

Thomas A. "Tommy" Hammock, age 68, of McDonough, GA died November 2, 2013. He was born in Griffin, GA to the late Thomas Elmo and Martha Elizabeth Conkle Hammock. He was a member of First Assembly of God in McDonough.

Dorothy Jean Bunn Dyer
Mrs. Dorothy Jean Bunn Dyer, age 67, of Stockbridge, GA passed away November 3, 2013. Dot was born in Barnesville, GA the daughter of the late Lula Mae Creamer and Edward Eugene Bunn. She worked as a hair dresser for most of her working career. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, working, and animals. She was a member of Eagles Landing Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband, James M. Dyer of Stockbridge; sons, Jason Dyer of McDonough and Brent Dyer of Stockbridge.

Johnny H. Reagan
Johnny H. Reagan passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at Heart of Georgia Hospice in Perry. Mr. Reagan was born October 14, 1934 in Stockbridge to the late Hightower and Estelle Reagan. Mr. Reagan was a veteran in the U.S. Army. He was owner and operator of Reagan Grading & Excavating, a collector of antique cars and attended Houston Lake Baptist Church. Mr. Reagan was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Milam and Sybil Reagan.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Pritchett Reagan of Kathleen; daughters, Susan Hardin and husband McDonald, (Mac) of Kathleen, Teresa Reagan of McDonough; grandchildren, Hayley, Hunter and Hannah Hardin; sisters, Virginia Cryder of Monroe, Judi Williams of Douglasville, Linda Ann Holcomb of Stockbridge; and brothers, Grady Reagan and Ricky Reagan both of McDonough and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were held November 6 at Houston Lake Baptist Church with a graveside service at the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in McDonough. The Rev. Fred McCoy officiated. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
