Donnie Hay, age 52, of Stockbridge, GA died August 21, 2013. He was born in Decatur to the late William Francis and Marion Louise Bishop Hay. He was preceded in death by his siblings Billy Hay Jr., Sammy Hay, Jackie Hay, and Linda Copeland. Donnie was a member of New Life Church of God.
Donnie is survived by his loving wife of 22 1/2 years: Dianna Lynn Hay; brothers: Marty Hay; Tommy Hay; numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.

Sandra F. Tucker
Mrs. Sandra F. “Sandi” Tucker, age 71 of McDonough, Georgia passed away September 6, 2013. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama to the late William Wesley and Martha Louise Wood Smith. She was proud of her Cherokee Indian heritage and enjoyed arts and crafts, working crossword puzzles and watching TV. Sandi was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Tucker and her grandmother, LaFon Wood, whom she looked up to greatly.
Survivors include her daughters, Tammi (Richard) Hines of Stockbridge and Dawn (Beede) Stone of McDonough; grandchildren, Brandon, Autumn, Joshua and Amber Young and Kendyl Stone; numerous great grandchildren; sisters, Millie (Michael) Pirkle of Hampton and Diane Gosheff of Orlando, FL; numerous nieces and nephews; best friends, Donna Grogan and Helen DuBose.
Memorial services were held September 14 from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Rev. Will Carter officiated. Evie Jeannette Gallop
Mrs. Evie Jeannette Gallop, age 67 of McDonough, Georgia passed away September 7, 2013. She was born in Bakersfield, California to the late Robert James and Dorothy Bernice Shelton Hale. Evie was a self proclaimed “domestic engineer” who had an eye for a good deal. She enjoyed collecting items for EBAY, frequenting yard sales and cooking.
Survivors include her children, Natalie (Mike) Mahar of Bakersfield, CA, Michelle (Barry) Whelchel of McDonough, Robert (Angela) Gallop of Stockbridge, Beth Mungle of Locust Grove; grandchildren, Adam and Sean Patten, Nicole Mahar, Amanda Whelchel, Kayla, Abby, Melanie and Jakub Gallop, Matthew and Jack Mungle; great grandchildren, Taylor, Lucas and Ashlynn Patten; siblings, Betty, Barbara, Cindy, Billy and Mike.

Dora Virginia Harrigan
Dora Virginia Harrigan, age 78, died September 9, 2103. She was born March 8, 1935 to Nathaniel and Mary F. Williams in Tuskegee, AL. She was the eldest of seven children. On December 23, 1961 she was united in holy matrimony to Donald Ogden Harrigan and lived in New York for many years and later lived for approximately 20 years in Fredericksburg, VA. Dora was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, her parents and brother, Willie Jackson Williams. Dora confessed her belief in Jesus Christ at an early age at Rising Star Baptist Church, Tuskegee, AL and after relocating to Georgia, she became an active member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in McDonough. Her educational training began at Shiloh Elementary School, Notasulga, AL. She graduated from Tuskegee Institute High School in 1953. Dora continued her education and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Colorado. In 1979 Dora began her career with the U.S. Army as a Personnel Management Specialist, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel. In September 1999, she retired with the status of exceptional performance of duty and outstanding support to the Army Materiel Command, Human Resources Mission. Dora’s interests included frequent cruises throughout the world and other travels. She thoroughly enjoyed gardening including the plants and trees around her home. She was always adding plants and shrubbery to enhance the beauty that already existed.
Dora leaves to cherish her memories: her beloved and devoted siblings; Catherine W. Neil (Joe), Bloomfield, NJ, Theodore Williams (Emily), Fayetteville, NC, Shirley Rose (Cornelius), Carrboro, NC, Clarence Williams, Hampton, and Robert L. Williams (Annie), Baldwin, NY; two uncles, Herman Ezell (the late Lessie), Cleveland, OH, Lee Andrew Ezell (the late Evelyn), Tuskegee, AL and one aunt, Alean Tripp Moss of Tuskegee, AL; nieces, nephews, a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Kenneth L. Lowery
Kenneth L. Lowery age 83 of Stockbridge, GA passed away September 9, 2013. A native of Enterprise, AL, Mr. Lowery graduated from Georgia State University and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Mr Lowery has the distinction of serving as the first hospital administrator of Southern Regional Medical Center and also served in the same capacity at Walton County Hospital in Monroe. Mr. Lowery was an active member of the Lion’s Club, serving as a district governor. In addition to his career activities, he was also a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50+ years, Edith Lowery.
He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Saundra Lowery of Woodbury; daughter, Cindy Minix of Locust Grove; son and daughter-in-law, Stan and Leigh Ann Lowery of Mt. Washington, KY; son, Art Lowery of Stockbridge; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Howard Chapman of Birmingham, AL; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Elsie and Jim Tomberlin of Enterprise, AL; brother and sister-in-law, Lamar and Yvonne Lowery of Troy, AL.

Larry Michael Bryant
Mr. Larry Michael Bryant, age 56 of McDonough, Georgia passed away September 9, 2013. He was born in College Park, Georgia to Bobby Joe Bryant and the late Xaida Jeane Wilkerson Bryant. He was a graduate of Georgia State University with a degree in criminal justice. He served his country in the United States Navy at the end of the Vietnam War. Larry was the Director of Security at DeKalb Medical Center for over 15 years. He enjoyed music and was an avid sports fan, especially the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta Braves.
Survivors include his children, Nancy, Eric and Emily Bryant; father, Bobby Bryant; mother of his children and friend, Kimberly Bryant; lifelong friends, Ed and Doug Elliott, Chris Boe and Greg Viessman. He was preceded in death by his brother, Davey, his sister, Terri and by his aunt, Joy.

Edward Charles Andrew
Mr. Edward Charles Andrew, age 82 of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away September 13, 2013. Ed was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Otis and Anna Moon Andrew. He retired after over 30 years with General Motors. Ed was a hard worker and enjoyed gardening. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gay Elizabeth Brown Andrew on August 9, 2007 and by a brother Cecil Andrew.
Survivors include his children, Kathy (Mike) Fowler of Loganville, Nancy (Jeffery) Watts of Locust Grove, Barbara (Johnny) Price of Newnan; grandchildren, Chris Kelley, Matthew and Michael Fowler, Ashley Harper; sisters, Agnes Brown and Charlotte (Hugh) Leaptrot all of Carrollton.
