Locust Grove Day well attended

Top to bottom: participants ride in an old fashioned go-cart with a furry friend. Lawn mower racer, Bobby Cleveland does his signature wheelie. Horseback riders display their American spirit. Barbara Price drives a vintage John Deere tractor in the parade.

The annual Locust Grove Day was held this past Saturday, April 27, and again saw another great turnout from the local community. The parade began the action at 10 a.m. and featured tractors, horses, floats, old-fashioned cars and more. Vendors, non-profits and local businesses set up booths with food, drinks and other items for purchase. Bounce houses, crafts and other games were on set up for the kids to enjoy. Mackie Creek Band also performed live during the Street Dance. There was something for everyone at this annual event.
