The University of Georgia, Henry County Cooperative Extension is celebrating their 45th Annual Geranium Fund-raiser. The geraniums were recently delivered to the UGA Cooperative Extension office shade house and will be on sale from Monday through Friday at 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Sales will continue while supplies last and conclude on May 18 at the Geranium festival held in the McDonough Square.

The Extension office is located at 97 Lake Dow Rd. in McDonough and may be reached at 770-288-8421, Monday – Friday 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

If you can’t make it by the Extension shade house during regular business hours you may want to try one of the following special events. On Monday, April 21 the 4-H County Council will be selling geraniums until 7 p.m. from the shade house in Heritage Park. On Saturday, May 4 Henry County 4-H Club members will be holding a special Saturday Sale during the 19th annual “Miles For Meals” two-mile walk brought to you by The Henry County Council on Aging from 9 a.m. until noon. Look for them at the 36th Annual Geranium Festival on May 18 in the McDonough Square.
