Crossroads Career Network

  Crossroads Career Network Workshop meets at the Stockbridge First United Methodist Church. This 6-step Christ-centered program for career explorers includes resume, network, job search, and interview techniques. Visual Artists Collective Meeting

AARP Defensive Driving class

Freedom Fund Banquet

  The Henry County Branch of the NAACP is hosting its 9th Annual Freedom Fund Banquet on Friday, March 15 at 7 p.m. at the Merle Manders Conference Center located at 111 Davis Road in Stockbridge. This annual event celebrates community leaders and top local students. The theme this year is “Moving Forward Through The Struggle.” Tickets are $50 per person. The attire for the affair is formal. Heritage Writers Group

  The Heritage Writers Group has new meeting times. They now meet the first and third Saturdays of each month from 2 until 4 p.m. All writers are invited to visit. Bring two pages double spaced of something you have written to read. They have a lot of fun, and get a lot done. Meetings are held in the Educational Building behind the Church of Christ, 400 Lake Dow Road in McDonough.

Cub Scouts

  Faith Baptist Church, located at 346 Highway 138 E (Corner of Highway 138 and Millers Mill Road) in Stockbridge, is now sponsoring Cub Scout Pack 346.  This Cub Scout Pack is open to boys in Grades 1 - 5 and meets on Tuesday evenings. HeartSong Henry Choral Group

  HeartSong Henry is a chorus for special needs teens and adults (13 and older).  National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) meetings are held at Jodeco Road United Methodist Church every Thursday night from 7 - 8:30 p.m. sharp.
