Our Pet of The Week is Candi Leigh, a two-year-old Malti-Poo. Her proud parents are Jackie and David Gosnell of Locust Grove. Candi says “when I go out with my parents, most people that stop to talk to me think I am a baby because I am so little, I only weigh three pounds. The first time my mommy held me I was about 5 hours old and would fit in the palm of her hand. With a pink button nose, big dark eyes and pixie ears, Mommy said I was as sweet as candy, thus she named me Candi Leigh. My favorite toys are my teenie soccer ball, pink pig and little pink rabbit named Baby. I love to play chase with my soccer ball and chew Baby's ears; but my most favorite thing to do is sit in my daddy's lap and sleep.”
