Piedmont Henry Trunk of Treat

  Piedmont Henry Hospital will have a night of “Trunk or Treating” on Wednesday, October 31 from 7:30 until 8:30 p.m. at the hospital’s Foundation Education Center parking lot. Participants will include Piedmont Henry employees, Georgia United Credit Union, Chick-fil-A on Hudson Bridge Road, Motorcycle Club, Providence Hospice, Nestle Company, Henry County Emergency Medical Services, Henry County Fire Department and the Henry County Police Department.


St. James Hollydaze

  The Council of Catholic Women at St. James Catholic Church will be host their annual “Hollydaze Arts and Crafts Show” Saturday, November 17 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The Church is located at 1000 Highway 155 N in McDonough. There will be lots of homemade crafts, baked goods, a raffle, and door prizes. Booth spaces are still available. For more info contact Marietta Christopher at


Genealogical Society Meeting

  The Genealogical Society of Henry and Clayton Counties, Inc. cordially invites you to their meeting  Saturday, November 19 at 10 a.m. in the Educational Building, First Baptist Church of McDonough, GA. The speaker will be Dr. William J. Morton and his program will be ”The Story of Georgia’s Boundaries, A Meeting of History & Geography.” This meeting is free and open to the public. Join them for refreshments at the historic Brown House following the meeting.


 Star Touring and Riding

 The McDonough Chapter of Star Touring and Riding has their monthly meeting on the last Wednesday of every month at 7 p.m. in Chevy's just off the Square in McDonough. Enjoy family friendly fellowship with some fun loving folks who ride all kinds of bikes and go to all kinds of great destinations. Hampton Events

  On November 3 at 7 p.m., Abraham Lincoln Lives in Historic Hampton. Tickets are $10 each. It will be at Speak Easy Book Store, 5 East Main Street, Hampton. Conservative Breakfast Club

  The Conservative Breakfast Club will meet November 3 from 8 until 10 a.m. at Golden Corral on Jonesboro Road in McDonough. Guest speakers are Tommy Smith, Republican candidate for Chairman of Henry County Board of Commissioners and S. Malik, Republican Candidate for House of Representatives, District 13.
